BIOGRAPHY
Wayne Moser was born in London in 1970. He lived in Hertfordshire until 1986 and then moved to Bath in the rural West of England where he studied Design and Advertising until 1988. Leaving college he worked in Retail Fashion in Bath until 1992 when he relocated to Maida Vale, London. Whilst working for a graphics company he bought his first Nikon 35mm film camera.
In 1996 he began working as a Runner in Film and Television production in a studio in Camden and 1997 he left pursuing a Freelance career. He has worked as a 3rd, 2nd and 1st Assistant Director, TV Floor Manager and latterly a Location Manager. This experience has given Wayne a unique perspective and approach to understanding and capturing the visual elements of the life around him. The cinematic environment left a strong impression and has influenced all aspects of his photography ever since. "A photographic image is only a micro-moment of life but it always has a past, a present and a future."
Wayne has a particular interest in Documentary Social and Street Photography. It's wonderful ability to bring emotional, evocative and cultural images to the World still fascinates him. When some is swept under the carpet I like to think that photography can lift it up and show us what lies underneath? "A picture is worth a thousand words" has never rung more true.
